Maxwell Locke & Ritter Sells Interest in ML&R Personnel Solutions to Lace Archibald

Effective January 1, 2012, Lace Archibald has acquired Maxwell Locke & Ritter LLP’s interest in ML&R Personnel Solutions LLC. Ms. Archibald founded ML&R Personnel Solutions in 1998 and has been providing executive search and project staffing services in the accounting and finance niche to Central Texas. Her continuing operation will function under the name of Lace Archibald & Associates LLC. Lace Archibald & Associates will maintain the strong relationship built over the years with Maxwell Locke & Ritter and continue providing services to Central Texas. In addition, Lace intends to expand her involvement with a national accounting and financial services recruiting network to broaden the reach of resources she provides to the community.

Lathrop Smith Promoted to Partner at Maxwell Locke & Ritter

Maxwell Locke & Ritter LLP is pleased to announce that Lathrop Smith has been promoted to Partner at the firm where he is focused on Due Diligence services and business development.

While at Maxwell Locke & Ritter, Lathrop has been a leader in the Transaction Services team providing Due Diligence and Quality of Earnings services to investment groups and corporate acquirers. He has deepened the firm’s industry niche focus and works with the service offering teams including tax, audit, family office and ML&R Wealth Management LLC, one of the largest independent registered investment advisors in Austin.

In line with Maxwell Locke & Ritter’s beliefs, Lathrop has also displayed his commitment to the Austin and Central Texas community by serving on various charitable and professional boards, including the Association for Corporate Growth and KIPP Austin College Prep. Lathrop received his MBA from The University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business, his BS from Vanderbilt University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
